Rev. Shane Bishop
Shane Bishop has been the Senior Pastor of Christ Church since 1997. Raised the child of a pastor/evangelist, Shane was called into ministry in 1989 and has a relentless passion for connecting people to Jesus Christ. Shane believes the Church of Jesus Christ is God’s strategic plan for the conversion of the world. “The church is not an institution among institutions, a charity among charities or a good cause among good causes. Rev. Roger Ross
After serving churches in Illinois for eight years, in 1995, Roger became the founding pastor of New Horizon United Methodist Church in Champaign, Illinois. In 12 years, New Horizon grew to an average attendance just shy of 800 children, youth and adults with over 400 adults and youth in 75 small groups and serving teams and a wide range of missions locally and globally. In 2004, New Horizon planted its first daughter church, Quest UMC, in Urbana, and it has grown to 150 in attendance. Rev. Dr. Mark R. Jordan
Rev. Dr. Mark R. Jordan Lead Pastor, New Horizon UMC, Champaign, IL Mark has been serving as Lead Pastor of New Horizon UMC since July, 2010. Mark was not raised in a Christian home, and came to Christ at age 18. Mark was an engineer for 8 years after college, and served actively in several churches, including a host of short-term mission trips and outreaches. Upon sensing a call to pastoral ministry, Mark completed his MDiv at Emory University in Atlanta, and later received his DMin from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
